Der gepflegte Garten und auch der Wellnessbereich sowie die verschiedenen Pools laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Küche ist kreativ und modern, der Service sehr persönlich und freundlich. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und modern ausgestattet. Wir kommen seit 2006 immer wieder sehr gerne ins Giardino (vormals Jagdhof). Excellent owner-managed hotel in a beautiful location overlooking Merano. The well-tended garden and the wellness area as well as the various pools invite you to linger. The kitchen is creative and modern, the service very personal and friendly. The rooms are spacious and modern. We have been coming back to the Giardino (formerly Jagdhof) again and again since 2006.

Der Service ist im Restaurant sehr gut, draußen auf der Terrasse am Abend ausbaubar. Tipp: Die Zimmer so buchen, wie man Morgen- oder Abendsonne mag. A very nice hotel where almost everything is excellent. The rooms, the pools and the hotel bar are great, the food is also very good. The service in the restaurant is very good, which can be expanded outside on the terrace in the evening. Tip: book the rooms the way you like the morning or evening sun.

Das Team um Frau Spögler ist so umsichtig, freundlich und liest den Gästen die Wünsche quasi von den Augen ab. Schon bei der Ankunft verspürt man die positive Energie des Hauses und der MitarbeiterInnen und das zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch alle Bereiche. Egal ob es im Service die lustige und wortgewannte Jana, oder der immer für einen Schmäh zu habenden Manuel, oder Max der die besten Saunaaufgüsse in Südtirol durchführt, oder... Die Küche ist wie jedes Jahr, Extraklasse. Die Qualität der Speisen ist extrem hoch und beinhaltet nach Möglichkeit Produkte aus der Region. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf! Giardino is simply world class! We have been coming to this house for 14 years and we are always pleasantly surprised. The team around Ms. Spögler is so prudent, friendly and practically reads the guests' wishes from the eyes. As soon as you arrive you can feel the positive energy of the house and the employees and that runs like a red thread through all areas. Regardless of whether it is the funny and eloquent Jana in the service, or Manuel, who is always to be scorned, or Max who performs the best sauna infusions in South Tyrol, or ... The kitchen is like every year, extra class. The quality of the food is extremely high and, whenever possible, includes products from the region. We'll be back and we're already looking forward to it!

Frau Spögler, Eigentümerin und das Herz dieses außergewöhnlichen Hotels, hat mit viel Liebe zum Detail einen Wohlfühlort geschaffen, der seines gleichen sucht. Egal welche Disziplin man bewerten will, man wird immer die höchste Punktzahl geben müssen! Wir haben während unseres Aufenthaltes im schönen Giardino unseren Portugal Urlaub für September storniert. Wir kommen lieber wieder zurück und geniessen die außergewöhnliche Küche, den unaufdringlichen, herzlichen Service, den wunderbaren Giardino (Garten), die geschmackvollen Blumenarrangements, den großen modernen Spa Bereich, die Privat Sauna, den Ausblick auf Meran und die Berge und, und, und… Vielen Dank liebe Frau Spögler und jedem einzelnen Mitarbeiter! Wir haben unser Lieblingshotel gefunden!!! Nicole und Andreas South Tyrol, especially Meran and its surroundings, is always worth a visit. For us, the Giardino in Marlengo is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Mrs. Spögler, owner and the heart of this extraordinary hotel, has created a feel-good place with great attention to detail that is second to none. No matter which discipline you want to evaluate, you will always have to give the highest score! We canceled our Portugal vacation for September while staying in beautiful Giardino. We prefer to come back and enjoy the exceptional cuisine, the unobtrusive, warm service, the wonderful Giardino (garden), the tasteful flower arrangements, the large modern spa area, the private sauna, the view of Merano and the mountains and, and, and ... On the improvement side the jacuzzi was cold, room cleaning missed a few things and we had to call to get issues addressed, e.g. dirty glasses, shower gel not refilled, etc. All sorted in the end.

The incredible panorama is visible from practically every corner of the hotel: from our comfortable room to the exercise and spa area, to the breakfast & dining terrace, where we enjoyed fresh, delicious meals in a quiet and relaxing environment. One of my favorite spots was the sky pool, where I loved the sensation of “swimming in the sky” while enjoying the view of Merano and apple orchards below. The owners, managers and staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive to every single detail, making us feel very special indeed! Thank you Giardino!
