★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Val di Fiemme ha riaperto i battenti il Museo Geologico delle Dolomiti di Predazzo, sede territoriale del MUSE, dal martedì al venerdì con orario 10 – 12.30 e 16 – 18 e ingresso contingentato. Torna così visitabile, dopo un lungo stop, la mostra "Ghiacciai. Il futuro dei ghiacci perenni nelle nostre mani", ampio allestimento dedicato ai giganti bianchi che ricoprono le nostre montagne.
In Val di Fiemme, the Geological Museum of the Dolomites in Predazzo, the territorial seat of MUSE, has reopened its doors, from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 4pm to 6pm with limited entry. After a long stop, the exhibition "Glaciers. The future of perennial ice in our hands" returns to be visited, a large exhibition dedicated to the white giants that cover our mountains.

Small museum with a rich content. Clean and well maintained structure. The staff is courteous and helpful. Parking spaces available in the area. Bathrooms available. Ideal for getting to know the Dolomites better.

Museo fatto molto bene con descrizioni esplicative in italiano, inglese e tedesco.
Nel museo, la storia va oltre quella strettamente geologica, infatti, sono presenti anche testimonianze delle tradizioni, della storia e della gente che abita queste terre da millenni.
Museo fatto molto bene e inoltre è gratuito con la fassa card.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo visitato il Museo dopo aver percorso il Geotrail Dos Capel dove avevamo raccolto diversi tipi di roccia. Il Museo è molto bene curato e vigilato con attenzione e passione dagli assistenti. Al termine del percorso museale abbiamo potuto fare vedere alla geologa le rocce raccolte sul Dos Capel e con pazienza e competenza ci ha spiegato la loro origine e la formazione delle Dolomiti.
We visited the Museum after walking the Geotrail Dos Capel where we had collected different types of rocks. The Museum is very well cared for and supervised with care and passion by the assistants. At the end of the museum tour we were able to show the geologist the rocks collected on Dos Capel and with patience and competence she explained their origin and the formation of the Dolomites to us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fascinating and interesting museum in a lovely town. The museum tells you about the cultural and social history of the Dolomites as well as the geology. The displays look stunning and are easy to understand. I particularly liked learning about early women climbers and botanists.
