Come situazione dell'edificio è un poco come tutte le altre, senza pretese ma nemmeno con sorprese, quello che si vede è. Diversi treni collegano la città con il Piemonte e Brignole, e da qui passano i locali che fermano in tutte le stazioni. Nella strada che conduce alla stazione un tempo neanche troppo lontano c'era la mutua, ora chiusa e non sostituita. Rivarolo station is the best connection to the center. G	Gaetano Cavaleri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La stazione di rivarolo anche se apparentemente non sembrerebbe così importante nel vederla .e invece al contrario di quel si pensa la stazione più importante della val polcevera perché situata nel più grande centro abitativo di tutta la val polcevera si deve sapere che la zona del rivarolese e molto ampia in estensione sia dal basso che sulle alture partendo dalla zona di certosa fino ad arrivare al di sopra di piazzale brin dove ce il capolinee della metropolitana e proseguendo fino alla zona alta di via mansueto .poi tornando in basso e proseguendo da certosa verso rivarolo centro troviamo due vie molto ampie piene di negozi e bar zone altamente abitate fino ad arrivare al centro di rivarolo dove si trovano super mercati discount farmacie ed altro proseguendo fino in fondo alla strada del centro si trovano le fermate dei bus 7 8 8 barrato e sotto il ponte delle ferrovia il capolinee della corriera 53 per sestri ponente salendo dal centro verso le alture troviamo il più grosso centro abitativo del posto la zona di begato .ben collegata al centro paese con corriere dove sono nati altri discount .sopra il ponte del centro dove ferma il 53 ce la stazione ferroviaria ben collegata con genova e il piemonte e milano passando per busalla Ronco arquata e Novi ligure .
