★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best ice cream shops in Naples (which means, in the whole world). The neighborhood is lovely, with plenty of good shopping opportunities. The gelato is fabulous. Try their semifreddo (hazelnut and coffee especially), it’s to die for. I’ve been going there ever since I was a kid and was never disappointed. They also have a small groceries section with excellent mozzarella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been there today and tried four different flavours. They were all incredibly tasty and an honourable mention goes for the Mango, which was the best I've ever tried. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Naples. Plus the whole area is very beautiful with great shops around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing wrong with the ice-cream, but the old lady at the ice-cream counter hustled me coz I'm a tourist.
First off, at most ice-cream parlors in Naples it costs less to order a cup than ordering ice cream in a waffle. Not here.
Secondly, I ordered three flavors - strawberry, coffee and chocolate. None of the scoops I got filled the cup enough. The chocolate and coffee flavors came first and were decent in size but the final scoop - strawberry - was sooo small! It paled in comparison to the other two scoops and I finished it in two bites.
Sadly nobody at the store knows English and since I don't know Italian, I couldnt explain to the old lady that shelved out the scoops that she had given me too little strawberry ice-cream. I tried to, but she didnt get it. Shambolic and a scam.
Sure, the ice cream tasted nice (not as good as Casa Infante´s) but the scam artist style from the old lady at the counter left a sour taste in my mouth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can you eat gelatto twice in a hour? At Soave ice cream was so good I did. Most napolitan shops arent friendly but staff at soave were really nice. First the fruits then the creams I loved it all. Before Soave I was saying “meh gelatto in Napoli is overrated” than Soave saved the whole city’s legacy.
