★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking to get away from the crowd and tourists to get a taste of one of the best and most underrated local gelato, take a short 5 minute walk from Piazza del Campo. So many flavors and samples to choose from. The owner of the shop is usually present and will greet you with a warm welcome. Ask him for his opinion for the best views around the Centro and other small spots to visit that you wouldn’t find on most travel websites or blogs. Definitely worth a visit. Safe travels!
