★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spoilt for choice in pizzo, this is by far the best ice-cream. The family run galateria is run by a humble pioneering father and his son. The service is class A and you’ll be looked after well by his son. I tried various icecream throughout southern Italy during my travels and this place topped them all. Ask for the English soup, it’s divine! Then top it off with a night cap and watch the world go by. Thanks again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You must chose this place in Pizzo to taste their traditional Tartufo but also any ice-cream they make. It is all to die for. And run by such a lovely and welcoming family with their roots in ice cream making dating back to the 70s. I will be dreaming about their delicious pistachio ice cream when I return home!
