★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An institution since 1901.We've been coming back to this gelateria for years. The coffee is excellent, the tartufo delicious and the staff is efficient and friendly. They are in a prime location right in the main piazza and the patio is wonderful to sit and people watch. Don't be afraid to order the famous tartufo before noon. We were passing through and craved one at 10 am and kind of felt silly ordering one so early...the staff knows people come from all over the world to have tartufo in the town where it originated from-and were happy to deliver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was first class with very friendly staff. The tartufo was a new experience for us and was delicious. Pizzo is worth a visit anyway but the quality of ice cream at the Belvedere makes it a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are so many gelaterias in the main square in Pizzo that it’s hard to choose but Belvedere has to be one of the best…. The Pistachio Truffelo or the Cherry Brandy are my favourite.Sit enjoy and watch the world go by.
