★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I basically ate my weight in gelato while in Italy, searching out all the most acclaimed spots in Florence, Milan, and Rome. This place is the best of the best. The creaminess and richness of the gelato is superb, the flavors are swoon-worthy. I adored the “Sicilian Dream” (rum raisin and pistachio cream), the ricotta and honey, and the 80% dark chocolate. This place is not near the city center but it’s easy to reach on the bus. A nearby cafe, Pasticceria Cesare, is also fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent gelato at the busy Mordilatte. The texture is perfect: soft, creamy, melt instantly. I say that because other average gelaterias around the neighbourhood aren’t that busy and therefore their ice creams get hard and feels like supermarket bought stuff.
Worth a stopover if you are in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just went to this ice cream place due to its good ratings and busyness. Sadly I got a tiny ice cream for an absurd amount of 3,30€ whilst my Italian friend got an ice cream pretty much double the size for 20 cents more. Don’t really understand why we were treated so differently… the ice itself was good though, hence 2 instead of 1 star…
