★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gelateria/latteria storica di Firenze, senza i fronzoli fighetti (atti a coprire la “fasullaggine”) dell’era contemporanea. Un onestissimo gelato, conservato e preso dalle carapine (quando ancora nessuno sapeva neanche che esistesse, la parola); pistacchio formidabile. D’antan quindi meravigliosamente autentico.
 Historic ice cream parlor / dairy in Florence, without the fussy frills (designed to cover the "fasullaggine") of the contemporary era. An honest ice cream, preserved and taken from the carapinas (when no one even knew it existed, the word); formidable pistachio. Antan therefore wonderfully authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gelateria ormai storica di Firenze, offre un gelato davvero eccellente. Pochissima varietà di gusti rispetto a come siamo abituati, ma non ne sentirete la mancanza. La quinta stella nel giudizio manca per le dosi delle porzioni - sia di coppetta che di cono - perché sono davvero misere.
Gelateria now historic Florence, offers a truly excellent ice cream. Very little variety of flavors than we are used to, but you won't miss it. The fifth star in the judgment is missing for the portion doses - both cup and cone - because they are really poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco questo negozio dagli anni 60 quando il lattaio ci portava il latte a casa con la bicicletta!! Poi ....il famoso gelato del CIOLLI.... La panna montata con cialdoni ..... e poi tanti gusti di gelato . Una delizia per il palato estate e inverno! Ora il nonno ci porta I nipotini affezionati al gelato artigianale e in piu' anche per celiaci! Cosa si puo' desiderare ancora?
I have known this shop since the 60s when the milkman used to bring milk home with his bicycle !! Then .... the famous CIOLLI ice cream .... The whipped cream with waffles ..... and then many flavors of ice cream. A delight for the palate in summer and winter! Now the grandfather brings us his grandchildren who are fond of artisan ice cream and also for celiacs! What more could you wish for?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtige ouderwetse gelateria. Alleen al voor het interieur een bezoekje waard. Ijs is ook heerlijk.
Beautiful old fashioned gelateria. Worth a visit for the interior alone. Ice cream is delicious too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se sei un vero intenditore di gelato vieni dal Ciolli ( che è pure vicino casa mia ) e sarai felice ! il mio gusto preferito è panna gelato e lo trovate solo qui. Non ce n è per nessuno !
If you are a true ice cream connoisseur, come to Ciolli (which is also near my house) and you will be happy! my favorite flavor is ice cream and you can only find it here. There is none for anyone!
