★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an absolute rip off shop. They do NOT display PRICE outside. After choosing, the girl told us to go inside to pay where an old guy point to the price chart of 10 Euros for EACH Gelato. Which is easily 3 times any other shop. Please spread the word

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM! This place name is now Gelateria L'arte Nel Gelato. All prior reviews are true. This is a very deceiving, small and cheap establishment. The lady in the front counter show a falsely friendly face until you buy anything, then suddenly she rudely tell you to pay in the back. They do not post prices and then charge 10 Euros for small two flavour cone. They even charge 15 Euros for a waffle cup. That is literally scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people are scammers. DO NOT PATRONIZE this shop. They hide their prices and when you ask the server how much is it, she will proceed to scope the gelato for you and ask you to pay inside. Only when you are at the cashier inside, you realize a small piccolo cone costs €6 and a regular cone which my husband got, costs €10 ! This is daylight robbery! There are many other legit gelato shops around the area and they taste better and cost 1/3 the price. This shop is out to scam and not do real business. Do not fall victim!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SCAM. Do not go here. We were given a gigantic prob and charged 25€ for two gelatos. We were trapped into the store until we paid in cash. About at all costs. These were also terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disclaimer: This place is not a true gelateria. Very average Ice cream with zero taste and the most expensive in the city. €7 for two scoops. Ridiculous. Go to Carraia instead, miles better and half the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forced to pay €60 for two 2 scoops of gelato. (Basically $72 for four scoops of awful tasting gelato) It is a complete scam. The gelato was awful too and I ate two bites before throwing it away because it was disgusting. I love dessert and I never thought I'd ever find a gelato that I didn't like, but this was just gross. Do not go here!
Also apparently this is something they do often to tourists. Absolutely horrible.
