Original day booked was due for thunderstorm but we were allowed to move the booking a few days later without issue. We were a group of 6 with 2 small children and one elderly lady in a wheelchair with some mobility. The boat was brought up to the pier for us and assistance was given in getting her on and off the boat. As well as transferring our things from the main desk to the pier. The staff really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The boat itself was excellent and all the required information was given for safety, map reading etc in perfect English. If I return I will definitely be using this boat rental again.

I searched for a trustworthy boat rental company and I can now say: I found it! - Friendly, flexible, professional, English speaking staff - True “safety first” policy - Good equipment - free parking They offered to reschedule our initial reservations when the wind was uncomfortably strong. Great service! We rented a 8 person Rib boat, which I couldn’t find on their website, but is great for 2 families with small kids. We had a great time on the water! I’d definately come back.

Everything went perfect from booking to service and the boat itself. The boat was well maintained and in perfect shape. The service was friendly all the time and explained everything to us. This is important because the water police does stop boats that do not require a license and will ask questions about speed limits and other safety rules. We also got very good tips on where to anker and enjoy the lake at its best.
T	Tirza de Vries on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional and rude!!!! We rented a boat via Garda Boat for the first time and would recommend other people not to do it. Normally we rent boats at other places and never had any issues. When we rented this boat, we first had issues with being back on time. We got several rude calls and messages about coming back. To make things worse, we got a boat with a lot of troubles (broken bolders and rope). The next day we got on the boat, there was a bolder missing. We still don’t know if we lost the bolder whilst driving the boat, or if they lost it when they put the boat on the buoy. Our rope either broke or somebody cut it in half whilst we were visiting a city (again probably due to the bad state of the rope) Of course, if there are any damages we would pay for the damage, but they charged us an excessive amount of money for a missing bolder and rope… and treated us unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. When we turned the boat in, they first circled the boat like a bunch of sharks and didn’t even ask us if there were any damages. If they would of, we could’ve explained about the bolder and rope. When they noticed the missing bolder, the rudeness struck in (especially the lady who works there: Laura). They called us names, started yelling, and were very unprofessional in general. They charged us 4x the amount for the bolder and rope. Can’t stress enough not to rent a boat here. Stay away if you don’t want unprofessionalism and don’t want to get scammed!!
R	Rutger de Graaf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a boat for a short while, 2 hours. Not enough for the entire lake, but we had a very nice trip around the more local villages. Staff is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. They explain everything you need to know about the boat and the region. What i appreciated most is the transparency, such as help with fueling and having fair verifiable prices and insurance. That is not always common in rental agencies. No need to park the boat if you are unexperienced, they help with everything you might need help with. Will definitely consider them again in the future.
