You can be lucky and have a great day with one of their boats (we rented a couple times @ Rappydrive). But... if one of their boats does not work properly the team may still be friendly but the boss makes sure that you won’t see your money again.

When I was renting a boat, staff member told me that gas indicator doesn't work properly (showed 3/4) but he assured tank was full. He told he's fueled it up by himself yesterday. I believed in it because I didn't expect that somebody might have bad intention. I rode from Moniga to Malcesine then to Limone and back. After some hours I saw that indicator works and shows permanently less gas in a tank. I try to believe in people, so the only possibility was the indicator will stop at 3/4 after refueling. At the end of the day when I refueled it up to full in Moniga Marine I saw fully working indicator showing FULL. OK. I thought they ripped me off and I checked opinion about Rappydrive Company on Google. I was not alone cheated this way. By the way: regards to fuel pump man, I can't understand why he fueled up my boat and when some petrol leaked off due to waves he refueled it again - it came out to the lake and this employee did it several times until I paid him my attention. My bill was 120 EUR including lack of petrol from morning. After I returnd to Marina I told a man that gave me a boat at the morning that I felt cheated and I asked why he did it. His explanation was that it's his first day in the work and he knows nothing. In the office I explained my doubts that I was robbed for about 60 EUR. Staff member informed a Lady that was probably a Manager. I didn't believed my ears what I heard. "Everything is OK, petrol was OK, but bad customers like you broke indicators and Rappy Drive Company has a problem with people like you". No more comments. Stay away from this "Company". Summary: I was cheated for about 60 EUR on petrol I was accused of breaking the indicator and making troubles Garda Lake was polluted with some liters of petrol with no reason but more money in pocket.

I made a reservation for today for a boat for the whole day, we were on our way for a 1.5 hour drive to the southern part of the Garda lake and then “rappydrive” called me to say that our reservation is cancelled. Very bad communication and service. Not recommending this useless company.

Our booking was cancelled due to bad weather but the company didn't bother to inform us and ignored the 10 calls I made trying get an answer from them. When I finally got through I was told they couldn't reimburse my credit card and that I would need to email them my banking details. Either that or drive the 60 minutes to pickup my deposit in cash. The girls at the desk were nice but what a complete waste of my precious holiday time. Buyer beware, this company will ignore you once they have your money.

Last year we moored our boat on Rappy’s pontoon through the Riva club. When we left the employees told us we were more than welcome to moor up anytime as long as the pontoon was understandably clear of there own boats & were not busy. We went there yesterday, everywhere was totally abandoned & empty. There was not one boat or employees to talk to. Only ropes scattered on the pontoon. Not finding anyone to talk to we found a restaurant close by to eat lunch. We were totally prepared & happy to pay a fee. When we returned a couple of boys now on the pontoon told us we needed to go to the office & pay in a really unfriendly way. The lady in the office would not listen & just said that the manger wanted the fee paid. We were shocked to then be charged 30 euro per boat tariff for our just over the 1 hour stay. Not being given able a tariff price or a receipt in return for the 90€ payment we made. We go to lake Garda several times a year & have done so over many years. We have experienced nothing but lovely, friendly & helpful service on the lake. We were prepared to pay a fee. Instead they were unnecessary rude & abrupt & seemed to pluck 30 euros per boat out of the air. The pontoon was totally empty & remained empty for the rest of the day. Rappy Boat Hire - perhaps you might consider adopting a more friendly & approach moving forward. Unnecessary rude.
