La Galleria Giuseppe Mazzini è una delle passerelle classiche del centro di Genova. Prende il nome dal patriota italiano, Giuseppe Mazzini. Fu costruito tra il 1870 e il 1880 ispirandosi ai celebri passaggi di Parigi e alla grande Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II a Milano. La galleria è stata realizzata dopo il completamento di via Assarotti. Questo fa parte della grande ricostruzione della città. Il pavimento di oggi è stato installato nel 1992. Il per i festeggiamenti per Colombis è stato motivo di rinnovamento degli edifici di tutta Genova. Le lastre originali del negozio degli anni '70 sono state sostituite con la superficie lucida del pavimento che vediamo oggi. Per l'incontro del G8 che si è svolto a Genova nel 2001, la pavimentazione della galleria Mazzini è stata arricchita con cupole in vetro colorato, quattro mosaici ottagonali in marmo e ottone lucido. Galleria Mazzini meta dello struscio pomeridiano, caffè, librerie, luogo da letterati e artisti, ma anche concentrato di locali alla moda e ristoranti notturni. A	Antoine M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantabulous galleria, reminds one of Milano, packed with upscale shops, etc. It's going through some renovations. There were few stalls of bric-à-brac, few café opens. It is a stunning looking arcade. It's about 19 metres in height, constructed around late 1800. This is Iron Architecture with great tribute to the Neo-Renaissance Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II at Piazza del Duomo, in Milano.
