Avevo intenzione di acquistare un paio di scarpe, intenzione negata purtroppo, dal personale, che si è rifiutato di prelevare il numero che serviva dalla vetrina, nonostante la scatola corrispondente fosse esposta nel reparto vendite, convincendomi del fatto che a Modena fosse usanza comune non poter prelevare un capo dalla vetrina per venderlo, ma che avrei dovuto attendere l’allestimento di una nuova esposizione!
Avrei avuto piacere di parlare con il titolare, ma mi è stato negato anche quello!

I had intended to buy a pair of shoes, an intention unfortunately denied by the staff, who refused to take the number needed from the window, despite the corresponding box being displayed in the sales department, convincing me that in Modena it was common practice not to be able to take a garment from the window to sell it, but that I would have to wait for the preparation of a new exhibition!
I would have liked to speak with the owner, but I was denied that too!
