The funicular was not working. To go to the train station you had to take the bus. I don't know if it was for that day or off duty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Car park is free. Quicker than the road and efficient. A little bus up to the Duomo is included in the ticket price.
The return journey is only valid for an hour and a half, so if you'll need longer, you'll need a second ticket.
Dogs need to wear muzzles, which is not a problem, once you know the rules!
