you even can spot some edelweiss and some birds living up there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My trail started in Levico Terme train station so it was a long way up to the top. Forte Spitx Vezzena is the highest fort with altitude of 1908 m asl (and the most east ) of the Austria-Hungary Monarchy during I WW. The view on the top is amazing, you can admire the plenty of surrounding mountains but also the towns and lakes. There is a large metal cross and some boards with interesting information. Overall, the hike was quite steep but very funny

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved it. Not super hard to reach, you can start from Hotel Vezzena. Half a day should be enough time to reach this Forte. The pathway to go up is large, initially is just a road then it's full of rocks till the end.
It's crowded. When you reach this place you can look at the beautiful view from up there and rest a bit: there are a few benches and grass spots where you can picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strategic and in the same time spectacular mountain pick over the Valdostana Valley. Only 1,5 hour walk from the Passo Vezzena. Unforgettable view on Caldonazzo and Levico lakes and over all surrounded Alps. Extremely recommended to climb on!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really awesome hike to the mountain top of "Pico Levico", with a brilliant view of the lakes and towns of Caldonazzo and Levico. As with many mountains in the area, lots of WW1 history.
Pay attention to the weather, you don't want clouds after having climbed about 500m, either via hiking path (recommended) or former military road.
