★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you plan on going during low season contact the museum beforehand in order to check the opening status. I only looked at the website that gave the normal opening hours and once I arrived I found this sign in Italian informing about the temporary closure of the museum. I gave 2 stars because I think it is worth going, but i had a terrible experience.

The artists who display in Arte Sella come from all over the world. Highlights (see photos) include:
•Wilsbecker's "Through the Soul" is hazelnut tree branches wrapped around an oak tree and formed into a hut at the base.
•Antoni Howe's "Winds of Sella" collapsed in a horrific storm in Oct 2018, but remains a visionary piece ensconced in the Arte Sella's natural surroundings. Rather than resurrect the piece, Howe prefers the piece be "reclaimed by nature".
•Jaehyo Lee's "0121-1110=115075" is a testament to Asian design, culture and appreciation of nature.
•Giuliano Mauri's "The Tree Cathedral", erected in Dec 2000 is a physical and visual masterpiece. Mauri's goal was to erect a cathedral of trees, and it is precisely that. By 2021, the artwork will be complete, and the caretakers will begin pruning the trees to create a cathedral ceiling affect.
•John Grade's "Reservoir" has 5000 plastic reservoirs suspended from the surrounding trees. Elements of wind, water, light and air to create a symphony of sound and beauty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most beautifull sculpture park I ever seen. The beauty of the nature combined with contemporary art. Four hours visit. Part of the exhibion is free of charge. But I strongly recomend to go even to the paid part and visit small local restaurant café by the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really beautiful sculpture garden in an awe inspiring setting. It has two sites a hour walk from one another. There are a number of small parking lots. If you can walk, I suggest to park at the first spot you find and then walk. Due to covid-19, the smaller site doesn't have restrooms

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, relatively easy walk through the forest (although you'll still need good shoes). Moreover, it's a different experience for every season of the year, so it's worth re-visiting.
The artworks are perfectly integrated in the landscape, sometimes with subtle effect, sometime stunning. Paths are easy enough to follow.
