★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Opera fortificata densa di storia e di leggende, posto all'ingresso est di Ascoli. Tiranni, oppressi e saggi contribuirono in maniera diversa ma determinante a rendere questo luogo un alchimia di eventi. Posto sulla sponda del Castellano con il famoso Ponte di Cecco che ne unisce le due rive. Ora adibito a Polo Museale. Un vero percorso nella memoria antica a colmare i cuori di Meraviglia ?
 Fortified work full of history and legends, located at the east entrance of Ascoli. Tyrants, oppressed and wise men contributed in a different but decisive way to making this place an alchemy of events. Located on the bank of the Castellano with the famous Ponte di Cecco which joins the two banks. Now used as a museum complex. A true journey through ancient memory to fill the hearts of Wonder ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il forte dei Malatesta è una bellissima opera d'arte che fu fortificata x difendersi dagli attacchi dei nemici............x poi diventare un carcere costruito sul ponticello di Cecco dove sotto è facile notare il suggestivo torrente Castellano ? purtroppo le opere esposte le reputo poco esaustive in quanto prive di targhetta che le possa descrivere anziché perdere tempo su un intero pannello luminoso ? infine mi preme sottolineare che:è un vero peccato che il ponticello sia chiuso da svariati anni con la scusa o l'alibi di salvaguardare l'incolumità dei cittadini o visitatori ? quando poi basta scendere giù al fiume x notare la palese incongruenza dell'amministrazione locale ? ( palazzine costruite su parapendii dove un possibile alluvione o quant'altro possa far franare il tutto e alimentare una strage ) assurdo e vergognoso ?
The Malatesta Fort is a beautiful work of art that was fortified to defend itself from enemy attacks ............ to then become a prison built on the Cecco bridge where underneath it is easy to see the suggestive stream Castellano ? unfortunately I consider the works exhibited to be not very exhaustive as they lack a plate that can describe them rather than wasting time on an entire luminous panel ? finally I would like to emphasize that: it is a real pity that the bridge has been closed for several years with the excuse o the alibi of safeguarding the safety of citizens or visitors ? when then it is enough to go down to the river to notice the obvious inconsistency of the local administration ? (buildings built on paragliders where a possible flood or anything else could cause everything to collapse and feed a massacre) absurd and shameful ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting building, very peculiar architecture ( the central large domed rooms and the inner court are worth the visit) however exhibition inside is very poor, and you are not allowed to go to the high places and the front bridge
