★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lla Fontana Nuova, detta anche Fontana Falconieri, dal nome dello scultore, Carlo Falconieri, che, nel 1842, in occasione dei festeggiamenti per il diciottesimo centenario della consegna della Lettera di Maria ai Messinesi (che la pia tradizione pone appunto al 42 d.C.), la edificò per decorare piazza Ottagona, oggi Piazza Juvarra.
 Lla Fontana Nuova, also known as Fontana Falconieri, named after the sculptor, Carlo Falconieri, who, in 1842, on the occasion of the celebrations for the eighteenth centenary of the delivery of the Letter of Mary to the Messinesi (which the pious tradition places precisely in 42 AD), he built it to decorate Piazza Ottagona, now Piazza Juvarra.

Si dovrebbe vietare la sosta a ridosso della fontana affinché si metta in mostra tutta la sua bellezza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La fontana è bellissima merita di essere vista purtroppo è ridotta in mal modo , noi siciliani siamo bravi a distruggere le nostre opere... si sono fregati addirittura i boccoli finali della Fontana, un vero un vero peccato..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto suggestivo, con la nuova ristrutturazione ncora meglio, vi sono anche delle panchine accanto alla fontana dove poter parlare tranquillamente con amici o con la propria compagna, accanto voi sono delle scalinate stupende con il quartiere più antico di Messina, veramente molto belle le sculture adiacenti alle scale ....

La fuente hermosa.
Es un bonito lugar para sentarse en la escalera y admirar el entorno, lamentablemente no es muy limpio. Podrían sacarle más partido
