★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fontana adorabile ma avrebbe bisogno urgente di manutenzione. Interamente in marmo di Carrara, sorge sulle sponde del torrente Carione. A lato si può leggere tutta la sua storia grazie ad un cartello. Andrebbe valorizzata a dovere invece è nell'incuria più totale.
Lovely fountain but would need urgent maintenance. Entirely in Carrara marble, it stands on the banks of the Carione stream. On the side you can read all its history thanks to a sign. It should be valued properly instead it is in total neglect.

Opera probabilmente datata nella prima metà del XVII secolo. La leggenda dice che la sirena viene trasformata da Giove in statua di marmo all'atto di abbandonare il fiume carrione per riguadagnare il mare. L'acqua fresca è limpida e leggera
Fountain which is located in front of the church of the Madonna delle lacrime commonly known as crying and next to the bridge of tears that leads to Piazza Alberica. Work probably dated in the first half of the 17th century. The legend says that the siren is transformed by Jupiter into a marble statue when leaving the river carrione to regain the sea.
