M	Manola Benelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella passeggiata,ben illuminato il viale e le piazze della zona pedonale..evidenziato a sufficienza i palazzi storici e le scalinate..servizi ottimi per potersi sedere mangiare bere e gustarsi un gelato artigianale...leggera musica gradevole di gusto e non eccessiva all'udito veniva dal piccolo bistrot all'inizio della piazza della fontana...dove una palla di marmo gioca con l'acqua...da vedere! Nice walk, well lit avenue and squares of the pedestrian area .. sufficiently highlighted the historic buildings and stairways .. excellent services to be able to sit down, eat, drink and enjoy a homemade ice cream ... light music, pleasant and not excessive in taste. hearing came from the small bistro at the beginning of the fountain square ... where a marble ball plays with water ... to see!

Ma rispetto alla vicina Liguria ed alla passata Versilia è estremamente trasandato! The historic center of Carrara has considerable potential, full of beautiful old buildings and narrow streets. But compared to nearby Liguria and the past Versilia it is extremely unkempt!

A me i volti troppo truccati (esempio: San Gimignano) non piacciono. Sono sempre alla ricerca delle cose autentiche. Carrara è autentica!!! Con tanti particolari, che rispecchiano anche il carattere degli abitanti.... ;-) Non è truccata per niente (ma, purtroppo, non si può dire che sia acqua e sapone ;-) Fra no truccarsi e non lavarsi mai c'è una bella differenza... Una certa trascuratezza degli edifici mi va bene, in fondo io, come fotografa, cerco proprio questo, ma la sporcizie e le marciapiede riempite di cacca non fanno parte dell'autenticità, ma della pigrizia e maleducazione. Peccato, perché la città con i suoi fiumi e le cime bianche di marmo sopra i tetti è unica! Each city has its own charm and its own face. I'm always looking for authentic things. Carrara is authentic !!! With many details, which also reflect the character of the inhabitants .... ;-) She is not wearing make-up at all (but, unfortunately, it cannot be said to be soap and water ;-) There is a big difference between not putting on make-up and never washing ... A certain neglect of buildings suits me, after all I , as a photographer, I look for just that, but dirt and poop-filled sidewalks are not part of authenticity, but laziness and rudeness. Too bad, because the city with its rivers and white marble peaks above the roofs is unique!
