The Triton fountain, circular in shape in gray marble, is located in the center of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Monreale (PA), an ancient Norman town; It was created by the Palermo sculptor Mario Rutelli in 1881 and depicts a Triton, sea god of the ancient Greeks, on some rocks in the center of the fountain while fighting dragons emerging from the waters.
