Ho avuto l'impressione di un luogo caotico e poco ricettivo. Siamo scesi a Palermo e lì è stato possibile passare una bella serata. We arrived at 19.30 and found the cathedral closed. Per cui tutto è incentrato su questa tematica, compresa la festa del crocifisso che è un misto tra profano e sacro. Il resto delle tematiche altrettanto IMPORTANTI come ordine, pulizia, vivibilità, gestione di parcheggi e strade assumono un ruolo secondario. Che non me ne voglia il sindaco in carica, perché quì il problema non è questo sindaco o i sindaci passati, ma la mentalità monrealese ad essere sbagliata...che alcuni monrealisi si facciano una bella dose di civiltà. Potrebbe essergli utile!! Honestly, for Monreale the cathedral represents both a salvation, but also a condemnation. So everything is centered on this theme, including the feast of the crucifix which is a mixture of profane and sacred. The rest of the equally IMPORTANT issues such as order, cleanliness, livability, parking and street management take on a secondary role. I do not want the mayor in office, because here the problem is not this mayor or the past mayors, but the Monreale mentality that is wrong ... that some Monrealisians get a good dose of civilization. It could be useful to him !!
