★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storica ed antica fontana seicentesca che si trova nei pressi della piazza del Mercato. Tenuta bene, circondata da un giardinetto. Per gli amanti delle fontane è da non perdersela.
 Historic and ancient seventeenth-century fountain located near the market square. Well kept, surrounded by a small garden. For lovers of fountains it is not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lo sfondo alberato ? esalta la bianca Fontana del Garraffo ⛲. Inizialmente posizionata in zona Vucciria fu poi spostata, come altre opere di Palermo in una zona diversa (piazza Marina nel caso specifico). L'opera rappresenta la dea dell'abbondanza che sormonta un'aquila ? in lotta con un'idra. Lungo i fianchi sono adagiati 4 delfini ? orientati verso punti differenti. ✅
The tree-lined background ? enhances the white Garraffo Fountain ⛲. Initially positioned in the Vucciria area, it was then moved, like other works in Palermo, to a different area (Piazza Marina in the specific case). The work depicts the goddess of abundance surmounting an eagle ? struggling with a hydra. Along the sides there are 4 dolphins ? oriented towards different points. ✅

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima fontana marmorea in stile barocco della fine del 600, (che fino all' 800 si trovava in un altro luogo della citta') in una bellissima piazza storica di palermo. Meriterebbe essere valorizzata maggiormente!
Beautiful marble fountain in Baroque style from the end of the seventeenth century, (which until the nineteenth century was in another place in the city) in a beautiful historic square in Palermo. It deserves to be valued more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The area next to the fountain has an antique market on Sunday morning. It appears to be just small items that can be placed on folding tables. No large furniture items. I saw a bunch of vinyl records for sale.
