★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Très belle fontaine antique qui représente deux lions. Elle se situe en face d'un tout petit parc non loin de la grande place de Teramo. Malheureusement, comme beaucoup d'oeuvres de la ville cette fontaine est aussi en cours de rénovation.
Very beautiful antique fountain which represents two lions. It is located in front of a very small park not far from the main square of Teramo. Unfortunately, like many works in the city, this fountain is also being renovated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima fontana!!!! Peccato che non è valorizzata come in questa foto visto che ci siamo passati davanti ed era ricoperta dalle foglie verdi quasi che i leoni non volessero farsi vedere....
Beautiful fountain !!!! Too bad it is not as valued as in this photo since we passed in front of it and it was covered with green leaves as if the lions did not want to be seen ....

Posta a decorazione di un pilastro della loggia del Palazzo Municipale in Piazza Orsini, si compone di un gruppo scultoreo di due leoni tra rocce. I due leoni simboleggiano i due fiumi Tordino e Vezzola all'interno dei quali si è sviluppata la città di Teramo.
The fountain of the lions was created by the sculptor Pasquale Morganti. Placed to decorate a pillar of the loggia of the Town Hall in Piazza Orsini, it consists of a sculptural group of two lions among rocks. The two lions symbolize the two rivers Tordino and Vezzola within which the city of Teramo developed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La fontana sarà anche bella....se solo la si potesse ammirare. L'impalcatura dinnanzi alla fontana è lì da tempi memorabili...sarebbe il caso di toglierla....no?
