★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho visitato molte case "famose" e ho trovato, nella maggior parte di esse, che abbiano un'aria molto museale (vedi la casa del Greco o quella di Pirandello).
Quì sembra che il poeta uscirà da un momento all'altro a declamare una sua prosa......sito veramente notevole !!!
 I visited many "famous" houses and I found, in most of them, that they have a very museum air (see the house of the Greek or that of Pirandello).
Here it seems that the poet will come out at any moment to recite his prose ...... truly remarkable site !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non un semplice museo! La casa del famoso poeta così com' era quando ci ha vissuto. Niente è cambiato! Entrando in questa dimora sembra di fare un vero viaggio indetro nel tempo. Spettacolare la veduta dalla casa verso il paese di Barga. Visitatissima da scolaresche e turisti.
Not a simple museum! The home of the famous poet as he was when he lived there. Nothing has changed! Entering this house it seems to make a real journey back in time. Spectacular view from the house towards the village of Barga. Popular with school groups and tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un luogo della memoria da visitare assolutamente. La casa Pascoli a Castelvecchio è uno di quei luoghi, pieni di fascino e di storia, la cui visita non può restare indifferente. Una full immersion nella vita del grande poeta e di sua sorella, un percorrere e ripercorre i suoi passi e in parte anche le sue emozioni.
Non si può restare indifferenti. Complimenti alla Fondazione e alla nostra guida che ci ha fatto vivere sensazioni importanti con i suoi approfondimenti e la sua grande conoscenza della vita del poeta.
A place of remembrance to visit absolutely. The Pascoli house in Castelvecchio is one of those places, full of charm and history, whose visit cannot remain indifferent. A full immersion in the life of the great poet and his sister, a walk and retrace his steps and in part also his emotions.
One cannot remain indifferent. Congratulations to the Foundation and to our guide who made us experience important sensations with his insights and his great knowledge of the poet's life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visite dichiarate di 20 minuti, chiusura alle 13. Arriviamo alle 12:15 e non possiamo fare il giro perché ci sono già 10 persone. Sono appena partiti ed un signore si lamenta del fatto che lui e la moglie (incinta) sono gli unici rimasti fuori. L'elasticità nel contesto lavorativo è una dote importante quando c'è, ma non esigibile quando non c'è. Se la matematica non mi inganna abbiamo comunque tutto il tempo di fare il giro. Non la pensa allo stesso modo il custode che ci rimanda al giro delle... 15! Se decideremo di stare senza far nulla per due ore e fare il giro faremo la media fra il servizio (1) e la visita.
Edit: all'amor per il passato non si comanda, perciò... Tornammo! Molto suggestivo il posto, da vedere in tutta furia. Può valerne la pena se capita la guida giusta.
Declared visits of 20 minutes, closing at 13. We arrive at 12:15 and we can not go around because there are already 10 people. They just left and a gentleman complains that he and his wife (pregnant) are the only ones left out. Elasticity in the work context is an important gift when it is there, but not payable when it is not there. If the math does not deceive me, we still have all the time to go around. If we decide to stay without doing anything for two hours and walk around we will average the service (1) and the visit.
Edit: love for the past is not controlled, so ... We returned! Very impressive the place, to be seen in all fury. It may be worth it if the right guide happens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo da visitare!!! Merita davvero. Sembra di fare un tuffo nel passato, perché tutto è rimasto invariato da quando c'ha vissuto Giovanni Pascoli. Guida molto esperta ma a parere mio troppo frettolosa, anche se capisco che abbia magari degli orari da rispettare. Per ogni stanza avevamo circa 2/3 minuti e quindi alcune cose sono state guardate troppo di fretta e in maniera superficiale. Peccato
Museum to visit !!! Really deserves it. It seems to take a dip in the past, because everything has remained unchanged since Giovanni Pascoli lived there. Very experienced guide but in my opinion too hasty, even if I understand that maybe he has some timetables to respect. For each room we had about 2/3 minutes and therefore some things were looked at too quickly and superficially. Sin
