There is so much to learn and the techniques are taught in an individualized and effective way. If you rent the apartment provided by the academy for an extra fee, you have an unlimited access to the studio which comes in very handy on weekend! I enjoyed my experience at the Florence Classical Arts Academy a lot and I can definitely recommend it to everyone who is interested in studying visual arts!

In 2014 I attended the Russian Academy for six months, doing part of their first year program. As I had limited time, I added the extra evening and Easter holiday courses on offer which were interesting and very helpful. All together it was the perfect complimentary study for me, as in the previous year I had just finished my BA with Honours in Fine Arts. The Academy gave me essential additional knowledge and confidence which I was still lacking as an artist. The professors and staff at the academy are of the highest standards. The anatomy, the composition, the drawing and oil painting classes were most interesting and I still reap the rewards of them now every day.

Personalized teaching methods are applied in every class and teachers approach their jobs very professionally. If you really want to learn to draw and paint, this is the place to be in Florence. And i have experienced some of the others.But i am here to stay. Just pay a visit and see for yourself.
