Consiglio vivamente di provare questa splendida passeggiata per arrivare al faro di Capo Zafferano in zona Mongerbino vicino a Bagheria. La macchina si può parcheggiare sul lato monte dal cartello “lido del carabiniere” per poi proseguire a piedi per la discesa che porta al lido e girare verso sinistra. La stradina è comodissima e praticamente quasi del tutto asfaltata, poco in salita. Si attaversano fichi d’india, scogliere e dirupi ed è veramente spettacolare soprattutto se effettuata al tramonto. Il percorso è breve ed adatto a tutti, essendoci appunto poca pendenza. La zona del faro è molto suggestiva e merita di essere visitata, il complesso è abbandonato e ha quel fascino della zona trasandata.
 Spectacular walk.
I highly recommend trying this splendid walk to get to the Capo Zafferano lighthouse in the Mongerbino area near Bagheria. The car can be parked on the mountain side from the sign "Lido del Carabiniere" and then continue on foot for the descent that leads to the Lido and turn left. The road is very comfortable and practically almost entirely paved, a little uphill. You cross prickly pears, cliffs and crags and it is truly spectacular, especially if done at sunset. The route is short and suitable for everyone, as there is very little slope. The lighthouse area is very suggestive and deserves to be visited, the complex is abandoned and has that charm of the unkempt area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to spend the day at rocky beach. There are plenty spaces to swim in crystal clear water. And of course to see the lighthouse is a nice bonus. Be sure to park up near the main road and come by foot to the beach carribinieri and then to the left there will be a road leading to lighthouse or smaller places to swim.
