★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A sea front town with good character and views towards the mountains behind Palermo with the sweeping bay in the foreground. The road tends to be busy but there is an impressive, wide promenade with some striking sculptures. There are fresh fish stalls as well as cafes and some shops. There is a vibrant sense of community.
