Nel 1958 è stato trasferito nella sede di via della Vasca Navale. Le corse dei levrieri si tenevano tutte le domeniche alle 10:15, i lunedì alle 15:00 e ogni mercoledì e venerdì alle 18:30. All'impianto, nel corso degli anni, erano stati apportati miglioramenti tecnici e ricettivi, con l'intento di promuoverne le attività e di allargare il bacino d'utenza del pubblico cittadino. Ma il 24 maggio 2002 la Snai, che ne era proprietaria, dopo 74 anni di attività annuncia la messa in liquidazione della società che lo gestisce, con la sua conseguente chiusura, licenziamento di 40 dipendenti e messa a dimora di 400 levrieri. Dal 2002 i locali dell'ex cinodromo vengono occupati da Acrobax, un centro sociale autogestito. The Cinodromo di Roma was opened in the autumn of 1928 in the Flaminio district, at the La Rondinella sports field (known because on 8 December of that year it hosted the first derby in history: Rome-Lazio). In 1958 it was transferred to the headquarters in via della Serb Navale. Greyhound races were held every Sunday at 10:15 am, Monday at 3:00 pm and every Wednesday and Friday at 6:30 pm. Over the years, technical and receptive improvements had been made to the plant, with the aim of promoting its activities and expanding the catchment area of the city public. But on May 24, 2002 Snai, which owned it, after 74 years of activity announced the liquidation of the company that manages it, with its consequent closure, dismissal of 40 employees and planting of 400 greyhounds. Since 2002 the premises of the former dog track have been occupied by Acrobax, a self-managed social center.
