★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular!! It is difficult to describe the natural majesty of Mount Etna. Lava sands, flows, and tubes. Smoke streaming out of the crater. Just being on Etna is awe inspiring. If you visit eastern Sicily, I highly recommend a visit to Etna.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good snow for being so far south. Started to get slushy as the day wore on. My only complaint is the same as every other resort I've been to in Europe: to get on a lift is an absolute cluster****. Apparantly no one in Europe knows how to line up in any sort of orderly fashion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the drive up to Etna Nord. Was an incredible scenic drive as not only had it just snowed by the sun was out too. The ski area is quite basic but more than sufficient and being the first day of the season, was packed. Worth a visit.
