Really nice hotel like a country house, spacious room with wood carpenter, friendly staff and delicious breakfast with lots choices! Definitely our favorite hotel of our road trip in Sicily!

A very nice hotel in a great location looking straight up to Etna and close to Postero's excellent sea front. Very courteous staff, comfortable rooms and EUR5 for an excellent breakfast. No full English but this is not England. Giarre not the greatest of places but central to the best of South East Sicily.

We returned for a second visit this summer and really cannot find a single fault or criticism about any aspect of this hotel. The bedroom/bathroom was beautiful and always thoroughly cleaned, the food in the restaurant in the evenings was gorgeous/first class, communication and help from staff outstanding both before and during our visit, pool amazing, breakfasts varied, generous and delicious, buildings characterful and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend Etna Hotel and we will definitely stay there for yet another repeat visit; can't wait to go back.

Nice hotel with a magnificent view at mount Etna. The view is the best part of the hotel. Rooms are clean, but basic. Breakfast is good, but no variation what so ever. The clean pool area is quiet and relax. A nice place to stay. Don't stay there if you want to visit Giarre, because Giarre is an ugly and crappy town.

This place is a diamond in the rough but makes up for it for the service you get the cleaniness., garden pool etc.

Beautifull pool, view on mount Etna. Spacious clean rooms, very spacious bathroom. We ate in the restaurant every night. Food was very tasty, staff very friendly. Nice selection of local wines, and we were even fortunate to join a wine tasting dinner that had been organised for local people. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is that there is no lounge area or bar. When evenings are too cold to sit outside, there is nowhere to sit except in your own room. You are allowed to sit in the breakfast area, or go to your table early, but that is not the same thing.

A lovely hotel in the shadow of Mount Etna. Matt and his staff are excellent, especially the ladies in the breakfast room. The restaurant is situated next door and is well run by Pepe. All inclusive deal is recommended. We had one very good dinner, the others were excellent. It's a bit of a walk to get a bus or train, but you get used to it. Shops are nearby to buy beers and other delights.

Exceptional place to stay. Friendly staff. Very 'accommodating', dealing with requests quickly. Dinner was wonderful, and a lovely breakfast in the courtyard. Rooms are stylish and provide a restful environment. Situated conveniently for travelling to other places particularly up and down the coast by train. Tours available to book. Shuttle to airport. Despite the cloudy weather hiding Etna it was still a perfect place to stay.
