β β β β β They have fresh food for lunch.. packed and unpacked for both vegetarians and non! :) Then u can always hop to the other side of the road and have a nice lunch in the park around the piscina solari :)

β β β β β I came to Milan in September 2017, it was quite challenging to find a supermarket that has a good collection, price and hospitable staff. I was impressed by Essalunga Papiniano on how quick the staff helped with the self check out counter and the hospitality at the cashier. The quality was incredible from September 2017 to January 2018, then it all changed...
I did my groceries for several weeks in February and yesterday, I realized that the management has changed the staff personnel and replaced by unprofessional staff. Most of the cashiers was rude and wasn't even willing to serve me.

β β β β β Open everyday, but always crowded, eventhough the esselunga staff have placed personnel to disperse gatherings and advise people to maintain the safety covid distance, as the store is a bit cramped, i 'd say its a bit risky in this period!!!
The other good aspects of an esselunga store are present!!
