Sia per gli strapiombi che ti accompagnano fino all'arrivo sia perché necessità di un certo impegno fisico. Se avete deciso di affrontarla ollara vi attendono 40 minuti di tragitto partendo dal paesino di Pale anche lui arroccato sul versante sud est della montagna. Arrivati in cima comunque la fatica verrà ripagata sia dalla particolare architettura dell'Eremo sia dalla vista che godrete della pianura Folignate. Il percorso per raggiungerlo dal paese di Pale non è lungo ma molto in salita e da fare con scarpe adeguate, non con sandali o ciabatte. Per le visite interne bisogna prenotare ed essere almeno un po' di persone. Raggiunto l'eremo si può godere di una vista panoramica come poche, e all'esterno sono state attrezzate comode sedute per riposarsi un poco.
