Interesting to discover the impact of soils by tasting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a bit on the fence how much I liked this Enoteca.
On the good side, it has a huge selection of Barolo wines, and around 40 of these were open for tasting. That was a really great experience, and allowed one to compare side-by-side the influence of regions, wine-makers and age of the wines.
The negative is that the place feels very touristy. Wine is not poured by a skilled wine-maker, but automatically dispensed through machines. There are long queues, and many people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 32 varieties of Barolo available for sampling in very small tasting quantities ( around 50 ml ) at 2 to 4 euros per sample. Some written suggestions but generally entirely self-guided. Personally I greatly enjoyed the opportunity but others clearly missed direction by a knowledgeable local - but there were dozens of such opportunities in town elsewhere.
