Elephant Apartment

Perfect location in Rome, great hosts, beautiful apartment. Would definitely stay there again for authentic Rome experience. Great A/C and amenities.

The apartment is perfectly located. It us clean and modern. The amenities are wonderful and Alberto is one of the best hosts that we have ever had. You will live the Elephant apartment!!

Long story short: - perfect (!) host - very clean and nicely furnished apartment - located close to the center with nearby bus stations (with direct link to all important areas of Rome) In more detail... What do we mean with perfect host? Alberto, the host of the apartment is really dedicated to fullfil all wishes. Upon arrival on Sunday, he managed with the owner of the nearby garage that he opens the parking so to allow us to park our car safely. Afterwards, he really took time to explain us the public transportation in Rome (it was our first stay in the city) and gave us some maps with all nearby bus stops he had created for his guests. Last but not least he cocked some wonderful pasta for us, given he anyway wanted to have lunch. There are many more examples, however hopefully the above explains what is meant by saying a perfect host... With regards to the apartment, it has to be stressed that it is really clean and nicely furnished. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed. The kitchen really allowed us to cook dinner or to enjoy a wonderful Italien breakfast. The apartment is close to the city center and with public transportation you can reach all important places within short (many lines stop close to the apartment). Bus tickets can be bought for EUR 1.50 in the tabacco shop just across the street. All in all we spent some wonderful days in Rome and we will for sure use the apartment again when we come back to this lovely city. I can only recommend this place. The apartement is very close to bus and tram which take you directly to the inner city or the Vatican. Alberto is a lovely host who takes really good care of his guests. He gave us plenty of information on how to get around, where to eat in the area etc. The apartment building is the most amazing I have ever seen, with a lovely garden and the staircase and elevator are like taken directly from a movie :-) You will not regret staying there!

After staying at Alberto and Giordana's elephant apartment in Rome, I deemed it necessary to write them a review. First of all, the apartment itself was awesome! It's in a great location, next to buses and the tram, about 15 mins to get to almost any of the touristic areas, but far enough from them that my 2 friends and I got to experience a different side of Rome. The apartment had everything we needed, 2 closed bedrooms, a cute living space and open kitchen and the bathroom was super clean, equipped with a washer for doing laundry. It was close to restaurants and local bars, even a supermarket within walking distance. Most of all, Alberto was very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. Not one bad comment about this place. Alberto and Giordana were great hosts and this is definitely a place I would go back to.

We had a very nice holiday. Alberto (the host) was very helpful and gave many tips about restaurants, sights and public transportation. The accommodation was just outside the busy center. Within a few minutes you were on public transport with all the sights. The restaurants were affordable. We can recommend everyone to stay in this apartment when visiting Rome.

Alberto is an amazing host, the bicycle tour given in Rome was the best experience of the week! His knowledge of the city is outstanding and we really had an amazing time with him. We would Really recommend this experience to everyone.

Alberto truly is an amazing host and has always been there when we've needed help of some sort. He also gave us plenty of tips about restaurants etc in the area which we really appreciated. The apartment is beautiful and really nice located. We couldn't be happier and we definitely recommend the Elephant apartment for anyone visiting Rome!
