β β β β β Small place run by a family: granma wa on the kitchen, son was sreving meals and his wife was on parental leave.
No menu on the table - just few options from the waiter. I suspect they change daily since the place use local seafood from the market - and you can never predict what they catch.
The food itself is simply delicious. Flavours are rich and yet delicate.
They offer classical Italian cuisine cooked right - how could you wish for more!
I would certainly recommend to go there if you need to pick just one place in Trieste for dinner.

β β β β β A small and familiar restaurant where you are well served. There is no menu on the table, but the owner explains everything you have to know like the catch of the day etc. We just had a great dinner. Next time we will definitely eat here again.

β β β β β Hidden place not within the mainstream area. But a valuable secrets place. So, what is important: no menu! This is because everything is fresh and therefore the restaurant decides each morning what will be available in the evening. So, what you get you see outside on the "menu". Only sea fruit dishes. But what they have is very tasty. We paid for a meal if 2 persons with beverages but w/o antipasti (surely bread with Olive oil is served) around 50 EUR which was a reasonable price. Definitely a location which I recommend, but: Only if you are a friend of sea food ?

β β β β β It's a tiny family run restaurant and we were served by the owner. And we were served well which is not always a case when you are a tourist. We tried variety of seafood and everything was fresh and excellent. If I'm ever back in Trieste I will definitely visit again.

β β β β β Fantastic little place tucked away in back streets! Friendly family run business welcoming tourists and locals alike. Delicious fresh seafood dishes. No menu because it's essentially "dishes of the day" and both were excellent! We found this very good value for money at β¬52 for starters, mains and drinks for 2 people. Highly recommend!

β β β β β Little trattoria near the center of Trieste! Amazing food! Wonderfull hosts. Do not miss the most delicious seafood pastas! As a starter we had a mix of seafood appetizers( sea bass pate, sardines, clams..) after that we tried 2 tipes of pasta. First one was linguini with scampi callamari, vongole, muslles and capisanti. The other one was pasta with sea basa fillet with special kind of olives!soooo delicious!
After dinner we tried the selection of diefferent Rums because the owner is a big connoisseur!
Dessert was yummy also! If i could give it 6 stars i would!
