I can only recommend it. Little strenuous hike, very friendly hosts, good cuisine (the tried and tested hut classics)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toll gelegene Alm mit herzlicher familiärer Bewirtung. Wunderschön angelegt und idyllisch. Karte mit vielen eigenen Produkten....Säfte, Kuchen... einfach schön hier!
Greatly situated alp with warm family hospitality. Beautifully laid out and idyllic. Card with many own products .... juices, cakes ... just nice here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine kleine, von einer jungen Familie geführte Alm mit kleiner Gastwirtschaft und einer Schlafhütte mit zehn Plätzen. Auf der Hufeisenrunde ein guter Zwischenhalt auf dem Weg vom Penser Joch zur Hirzer Hütte. Sehr nette Leut' und ein tolles Plätzchen.
A small, led by a young family Alm with a small restaurant and a sleeping hut with ten seats. On the horseshoe round a good stop on the way from Penser yoke to Hirzer hut. Very nice people and a great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo una bella escursione, non c'è niente di meglio che fermarsi a una bella malga, soprattutto se bella e accogliente come questa, raccolta nel verde. Tutto davvero buono, vi consiglio specialmente i canederli burro speck e parmiggiano. Una delizia.
After a nice hike, there is nothing better than stopping at a beautiful hut, especially if it is as beautiful and welcoming as this one, surrounded by greenery. All really good, I especially recommend the canederli butter speck and parmesan. A delight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super schöne Alm. Das Essen ist super und man kann dort auch übernachten. Wir haben das genutzt um die Etappe der Hufeisentour zwischen dem Alpenrosenhof und der Hirtzer Hütte aufzuteilen. Die Alm liegt genau in der Mitte, das war von der Strecke super. Die Wirte sind total nett. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
Super beautiful Alm. The food is great and you can stay there overnight. We used this to split the stage of the horseshoe tour between the Alpenrosenhof and the Hirtzer Hütte. The Alm is right in the middle, that was great from the route. The hosts are really nice. We will be back definitely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Wanderung von Weißenbach weg ca 1:20 Stunde pro Strecke. Am Fluss entlang, teilweise relativ eben, zwei bis drei Stücke steiler.
Allerdings wohl jetzt im Herbst nur Samstag und Sonntag geöffnet. Steht aber leider nirgendwo an den Wanderschildern.
Nice hike away from Weißenbach approx. 1:20 hour each way. Along the river, partly relatively flat, two to three parts steeper.
However, now in autumn it will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays. But unfortunately nowhere on the hiking signs.

As every year, holidays in the Sarntal are not holidays unless you go to the most beautiful mountain hut in South Tyrol. Small, never crowded, at the end of a heavenly valley. Two very kind and always smiling young managers, super dumplings, macaroni alla pastora highly recommended. And welcome Martin
