The sculptors are very helpful and welcoming, there are breathtaking works, they are not the only ones in the valley but they are really very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come ogni estate, anche quest'anno sono stata in Atto Adige, purtroppo non ho avuto una bella esperienza, curiosavo da fuori ammirando la maestria di uno scultore dentro il negozio, ho scattato alcune foto a dei presepi e preso il nome del negozio per farlo avere alla comunità di suore oblate ( con sede nei pressi di Roma)per le quali lavoro come insegnate, appassionate collezionatrici di Presepi da tutta Italia, ad un certo punto lo scultore si è mostrato in una delle vetrine intimandomi di allontanarmi e di non scattare foto, non mi era mai accaduta una cosa simile prima,, era una pubblicità anche per oro, vista la maleducazione non sono nemmeno entrata , ho preferito rivolgermi ad altre parti, e la scelta è vasta, essendo la Val Gardena in particolar modo ricchissima di sculture in legno.
Like every summer, also this year I was in Atto Adige, unfortunately I did not have a good experience, I looked around from the outside admiring the mastery of a sculptor inside the shop, I took some photos of cribs and took the name of the shop to do it to have the community of Oblate nuns (based near Rome) for whom I work as a teacher, passionate collectors of Nativity scenes from all over Italy, at one point the sculptor showed up in one of the shop windows, telling me to leave and not to take pictures , such a thing had never happened to me before ,, it was also an advertisement for gold, given the rudeness I did not even enter, I preferred to turn to other parts, and the choice is vast, being Val Gardena in particular very rich in sculptures Wood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This beautiful handicraft/souvenir shop has hundreds of wooden sculptures. From tiny little objects that fit in your palm to full scale life size, they have the whole range covered. After visiting Dolomites, I have a new found love for woodworks. It's the form of art and creativity that I never knew existed.
