Un posto ideale per fermarsi e rilassarsi all'ombra degli alberi. Si gode una bella vista verso il paese di Randazzo. Comunque, la struttura intesa come area è sempre aperta. Le case sono chiuse e per rimanere bisogna comunicare con chi gestisce i rifugi Etnei. One of the most beautiful shelters we have on our beloved "muntagna"! Kept very well, neat and clean. An ideal place to stop and relax in the shade of the trees. You can enjoy a beautiful view towards the town of Randazzo. However, the structure intended as an area is always open. The houses are closed and to stay you need to communicate with those who manage the Etnei shelters.

Basta vedere le foto per godere solo un po' di quello che c'è in questo posto pieno di castagni, abeti, meli e noccioleti. Peccato che causa covid e anche per l'inciviltà dei suoi ospiti gli alloggi sono chiusi al pubblico. One of the many places well managed by the Etna forest group. Too bad that it causes covid and also for the incivility of its guests the accommodations are closed to the public.

Lo recomiendo para pasear, y si se animan, llegar hasta monte spagnolo Obligatory step to get to Monte Espagnolo. Very well maintained place. I recommend it to go for a walk, and if you dare, go to Monte Espagnolo

Il luogo è incantevole sia per le sue caratteristiche naturali che per la cura che appunto gli viene dedicata. Un vero plauso agli operatori che se ne occupano. Splendid example of a place cared for by the forestry corps, often criticized, perhaps in some cases with good reason but not in this one. D	Dino Greco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il rifugio forestale di Case Pirao è un posto bellissimo immerso nella quiete della natura e raggiungibile facilmente in auto, la stessa può essere lasciata in prossimità del cancello da cui si entra nella zona demaniale. Il rifugio dista poche centinaia di metri a piedi rendendolo facilmente raggiungibile anche dai bambini. Sono presenti aree attrezzate e sul sito del parco dell'Etna si trovano maggiori informazioni compreso il numero della Forestale di Randazzo a cui rivolgersi per chiedere l'uso del rifugio stesso, altrimenti chiuso. La strada in auto è facilmente percorribile, anche se ricca di tornanti. Il paesaggio è fiabesco e incredibile. The Case Pirao forest shelter is a beautiful place surrounded by the quiet of nature and easily accessible by car, it can be left near the gate from which you enter the state-owned area. The refuge is a few hundred meters away on foot, making it easy to reach even for children. There are equipped areas and on the site of the Etna park you can find more information including the Randazzo Forestry number to contact to ask for the use of the shelter itself, otherwise closed. The road by car is easily passable, even if full of hairpin bends. The landscape is fairytale and incredible.
