★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ONLY WISH THEY WERE CLOSE TO ME.... I would never cook again. This place is lovely- attention to everything- from the decor, to the food, and the wine to service. The woman (ahemmm, you can see the love) who owns this place is pouring her soul into it and from what I see, it keeps her alive and vibrant. (side note: while I am Bostonian/American, my husband is Genovese, food and wine are our jobs and passion. Don't brush this off as 'another american with no idea). Go, see for yourself.
And if you do go, also go see Chiara and Michele at Oltretorrente down the road. These kids are kicking out some fabulous wine. Give them some love, you will be happy you did.
