Particolari gli affreschi per il gioco ottico.in cui coinvolgono i visitatori.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edificio davvero affascinante e maestoso, difficile non restare affascinante dal lungo porticato che si affaccia sul bel giardino della piazza. Sabbioneta ha un piccolo centro storico ma non delude, non a caso è patrimonio Unesco

Mythological figures, fruit of the painters' imagination, have been observing us from the high ceilings for centuries. All this is a prelude to the wonderful vision of this covered corridor with frescoes throughout its length.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Galleria degli Antichi - Corridor Grande, powstała w latach 1584-1586 z fundacji księcia Sabbionety Vespasiana Gonzagi. Budynek o długości dziewięćdziesięciu siedmiu metrów składa się z podcienia dla pieszych na parterze i zamkniętej galerii na piętrze. Dolna kondygnacja składa się z dwudziestu sześciu łuków. Monumentalna budowla zwieńczona jest oszkloną galerią, która służyła dla pomieszczenia kolekcji marmurowych rzeźb, portretów sławnych postaci i trofeów myśliwskich. Ściany galerii na piętrze zostały ozdobione w 1587 r. freskami, które wykonali Giovanni i Alessandro Alberti z Arezzo.
Galleria degli Antichi - Corridor Grande, founded in the years 1584-1586 from the foundation of Prince Sabbioneta Vespasian Gonzaga. The ninety-seven-meter-long building consists of a pedestrian arcade on the ground floor and a closed gallery on the first floor. The lower tier consists of twenty-six arches. The monumental building is crowned with a glass gallery that was used to house a collection of marble sculptures, portraits of famous people and hunting trophies. The walls of the gallery on the first floor were decorated in 1587 with frescoes by Giovanni and Alessandro Alberti of Arezzo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lungo e stretto edificio di ben 97 m. costituito da un porticato sovrastato da galleria finestrata coronata da un massiccio cornicione a mensole. Tipologicamente ricorda un acquedotto romano. Aveva la sola funzione di essere il contenitore della collezione archeologica del duca e non di collegamento fra due ambienti come si potrebbe ritenere.
Epoca di costruzione: post 1583 - ante 1586
Long and narrow building of 97 m. consisting of a portico surmounted by a gallery with windows crowned by a massive corbel cornice. Typologically it resembles a Roman aqueduct. It had the sole function of being the container of the Duke's archaeological collection and not of connection between two rooms as one might think.
