Qui ci troviamo all'interno delle mura del Borgo di Castelmonte nel comune di Prepotto; un lembo di terra che confina con il comune di San Leonardo ed il comune di Cividale del Friuli. Il Borgo di origine romana è una roccaforte, circondato da alte mura e due porte d'ingresso. Al suo interno la Chiesa con il Santuario della Beata Vergine di Castelmonte. La Casa del Pellegrino offre oltre al Bar, il servizio ristorante e l'alloggio con 13 camere con bagno interno, WiFi; qui la vista spazia sulla pianura friulana. M	Matteo Benfatto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non conoscevo questo luogo ma ne avevo sempre sentito parlare dai miei genitori e dai miei nonni. Finalmente ho avuto l'occasione di visitarlo ed è fantastico. La visione è davvero bellissima e il santuario è curato e mantenuto al meglio.
S	Sonia Zuzek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accessibile a carrozzina elettrica, c'è un ascensore nell'ultimo tratto che porta alla Chiesa ed alla Cripta , immediatamente vicino parcheggio per disabili, tutto molto comodo. La chiesa si trova sul picco del monte, raccolta ed intima con la straordinaria immagine della Madonna con bambino nera di rara bellezza . Abbiamo trovato i frati che confessavano nella mattinata. La Cripta molto antica contenente numerosissimi "per grazia ricevuta" e la statua lignea di San Michele Arcangelo che scaccia il demonio. Giornata di nebbia che non ci ha permesso di ammirare il panorama, il borgo ,i vigneti e la stupenda cornice naturale del Santuario, quindi sicuramente ci torneremo anche per la straordinaria sensazione di mistico che sprigiona questo luogo Sacro!! Accessible by electric wheelchair, there is an elevator in the last stretch that leads to the Church and the Crypt, immediately near the parking for the disabled, all very convenient. The church is located on the peak of the mountain, cozy and intimate with the extraordinary image of the Madonna with a black child of rare beauty. We found the friars confessing in the morning. The very ancient crypt containing many "by grace received" and the wooden statue of St. Michael the Archangel who drives out the devil. Foggy day that did not allow us to admire the panorama, the village, the vineyards and the beautiful natural setting of the Sanctuary, so we will certainly be back also for the extraordinary mystical feeling that this sacred place emanates !!
