Riaperta al pubblico nel 2018 dopo oltre 200 anni di chiusura. Posto molto suggestivo è unico, la visita è imperdibile! Only example in the world of fortified dock connected to the castle. The Sirmione fortress, also called the Scaliger castle, is located in the city of Sirmione, in the province of Brescia. The name Sirmione comes from the Greek "sirma" meaning "scythe" or from the Gaulish roots "sirm" and "she" ("hotel on the water"). The peninsula has been inhabited since ancient times.
