 Excellent quality sweets and nougat. A little high the price of the latter. I still give 5 stars.

Consigliato se si cerca la bontà!
Cundari equals nougat! The nougat is a tradition and Cundari respects it in everything, there are nougat of every taste and the typical Calabrian desserts.

Arrivati alle 14.20 d avanti il negozio vediamo uscire una suora con in mano un sacchetto di torroni, mentre mi accingo ad entrare la signora (probabile proprietaria)chiude la porta a chiave e nonstante sono rimasto a bussare per un minuto ..nessuno si é fatto vivo.
Complimenti per l ospitalità di chi si é fatto un traggitto tortuoso e distante dall uscita dell autostrada per assaggiare le specialita del posto..
Di contro pochi metri piu avanti si trova la pasticcera CARERI sempre aperta e molto gentile e diponibile..la quale raccontata la disavventura si é prodigata con un omaggio delizioso.
The reviews are all positive ... but the kindness certainly wasn't the best. Arrived at 2.20 pm from the store we see a nun come out with a bag of nougat in her hand, while I am about to enter the lady (probable owner) locks the door and despite the fact that I was knocking for a minute ... no one was done I live.
Congratulations for the hospitality of those who have made a tortuous and distant route from the motorway exit to taste the local specialties ..
On the other hand, a few meters further on, there is the CARERI pastry shop, which is always open and very kind and available ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Torroncini in particolare sublimi, ma qualsiasi prodotto proposto non vi lascierà delusi. Tradizione e genuinità garantita. Varrebbe la pena un viaggio solo per gustare le delizie di questa antica e rinomata pasticceria.
Nougats in particular sublime, but any proposed product will not leave you disappointed. Tradition and authenticity guaranteed. It would be worth a trip just to taste the delights of this ancient and renowned pastry shop.

I think it is one of the best pastry shops not only in Calabria but I would even say Italy. I grew up with sweets Cundari and I love them all .. if you go Bagnara you should definitely go and try their specialties .. I recommend ALL ?
