β β β β β Sophisticated dishes with well-balanced flavors, you do see the talents, creativity, and experiences of the chef(s). Great pairing wines. Michelin eligible but approachable restaurant :) We are very happy to have found a place like here to dine!

β β β β β Great small restaurant/bistrot in the centre of Parma.
The Sunday lunch at cortex was one highlight of our short Parma stay.
The menu is small, but well composed. Plates are nicely presented and balance tradition as well as international influence. Everything was very delicious, especially main course (Primi) and their deserts. Staff was very friendly and completed the nice atmosphere of the restaurant.

If I am allowed to describe it, itβs a fusion of Italian, French and Japanese. Furthermore, wine you chose was fantastic and the price is very reasonable!! β β β β β Very solid modernist cuisine at a stoneβs throw from Parmaβs cathedral. The chefs are fully in control of their creations, which are surprising and full of influences, without derailing into weirdness. My only caveat is that the menu has only a thin connection with the local tradition, as it could be found in Tokyo or New York. So, if I were a tourist I definitely wouldnβt start here.
