Una chiesa dedicata a s.Martino con annesso convento ristrutturato da tempo e molto antico gode di una bella veduta sulla pianura che da Spoleto arriva a Foligno e oltre . Fu costruito dai frati francescani nel xv secolo e tuttora sia all'interno che nel porticato si possono osservare vari e importanti affreschi del '500-600 ben conservati . Percorrendo il viale anche a piedi,da Trevi, si va al convento in poco tempo . d	domenico colafrala on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima di varcare il portone di ingresso è il caso di ammirare l'affresco sulla lunetta del portale raffigurante una Madonna con Bambino, opera di Tiberio di Assisi. Molte opere d'arte, già contenute al suo interno, sono state trasferite in altre sedi come la Pala dello Spagna raffigurante l'incoronazione della Vergine. Fra quelle rimaste da citare due affreschi di Pier Francesco Mezastris, San Martino ed una Madonna con Bambino. Da ricordare poi un'Immacolata Concezione (nel Coro). Il chiostro vanta opere pregevoli al pari della cappella di San Gerolamo che contiene affreschi di Gerolamo Spagna ed, ancora, di Tiberio d'Assisi. Insomma un'oasi di raccoglimento e di riflessione che merita una visita. Da apprezzare la disponibilità delle suore (in clausura) ad aprire la chiesa ai turisti anche in orari "non canonici"... Simple but engaging in the environments.
