Cibo srmplice. Normalmente non aperto, i frati sono però disponibili a colloqui spirituali. Luogo semplice ma ben curato e dai tratti suggestivi. Ancient Dominican convent, now a Franciscan. Friendly and cordial friars, a climate of good prayer, dedicated to the mission to the people. Catholic convent. Srmplice food. Normally unopened, however, the friars are available for spiritual talks. Simple but well cared for and with striking features.

Vi abitavano prima i benedettini, o i cappuccini e dall'ottocento i frati francescani minori che ne hanno fatto un centro religioso molto attivo in tutto il bresciano. Forme severe e rigorose contraddistinguono questo complesso monastico raccolto attorno alla piccola Chiesa e al chiostro, con al centro la vera (parapetto) del pozzo. La biblioteca conserva incunaboli, cinquecentine, codici Miniati e libri d'alta epoca molto rari, in gran parte riguardanti la storia della regione. La giornata liturgica, a cui possono partecipare i laici, inizia con la recitazione dell'ufficio delle letture e delle lodi alle ore 6.30, prosegue con l'ora media alle 12.00, la Santa Messa e i Vespri alle ore 18.30. Sovente sono indetti per giovani dai 18 ai 30 anni giornate di spiritualità e periodi più lunghi di esperienze religiose durante l'estate; ritiri giornalieri per coppie di sposi. Si ricorda San Pietro il giorno 29 giugno. Per arrivare al Convento di San Pietro Apostolo con l'autostrada A4 si esce al casello di Brescia est e si imbocca la provinciale che porta a Rezzato per circa 6 km e alla collina su cui sorge il Convento. Con il treno si scende alla stazione di Rezzato e si continua a piedi. Situated in a very green wood at the top of the hill overlooking Rezzato, the convent was built around the 13th century. The Benedictines, or the Capuchins, lived there first and from the nineteenth century the Franciscan friars minor who made it a very active religious center throughout the Brescia area. Severe and rigorous forms distinguish this monastic complex gathered around the small church and the cloister, with the well (parapet) in the center. The library preserves incunabula, sixteenth century, illuminated manuscripts and very rare high-epoch books, mostly concerning the history of the region. The liturgical day, in which lay people can participate, begins with the recitation of the office of readings and praises at 6.30, continues with the average hour at 12.00, Holy Mass and Vespers at 18.30. Often days of spirituality and longer periods of religious experiences are held for young people aged 18 to 30 during the summer; daily retreats for married couples. St. Peter's is remembered on 29 June. To get to the Convent of San Pietro Apostolo with the A4 motorway, exit at the Brescia Est tollbooth and take the provincial road that leads to Rezzato for about 6 km and to the hill on which the Convent stands. By train, get off at Rezzato station and continue on foot.
