★ ★ ★ ★ ★ sede dei frati Cappuccini era posta originariamente in contrada Sant’Anna. Fu nel 1622 che si iniziò la costruzione del nuovo edificio nel sito ove si può ammirare ancora oggi. Nel 1629, in occasione della festa di Santa Rosalia, la messa venne officiata per la prima volta nella nuova chiesa.
L’altare maggiore è ornato da un quadro realizzato da Pietro Novelli nel 1633 e restaurato nel 1789 da Fra Felice da Sambuca. Esso raffigura la Vergine con Santa Rosalia e San Rocco e presenta la caratteristica di poter scivolare in basso per mezzo di corde mosse da un argano, rivelando così il sottostante magnifico reliquiario il cui contenuto viene descritto su due lapidi collocate sulla parete a fianco dell’ingresso.
seat of the Capuchin friars was originally located in the Sant'Anna district. It was in 1622 that the construction of the new building began on the site where it can still be admired today. In 1629, on the occasion of the feast of Santa Rosalia, mass was officiated for the first time in the new church.
The main altar is adorned with a painting created by Pietro Novelli in 1633 and restored in 1789 by Fra Felice da Sambuca. It depicts the Virgin with Santa Rosalia and San Rocco and has the characteristic of being able to slide down by means of ropes moved by a winch, thus revealing the magnificent underlying reliquary whose content is described on two plaques placed on the wall next to the entrance .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antico convento dei Frati Minori Cappuccini, in cui hanno dimorato, fra gli altri, fra Pietro da Mazara, di cui si conserva il Crocifisso che si porta in processione il 3 maggio, ed anche San Bernardo da Corleone, di cui si custodisce la cella e numerose reliquie, tra cui il reliquiario, portato in piazza San Pietro, in occasione della sua canonizzazione avvenuta nell'anno 2001, ad opera di Giovanni Paolo II.
Nella chiesa del convento sono custodite anche diverse opere di fra Felice da Sambuca, noto pittore francescano del XVIII secolo.
