R	Roberta Balsamo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo riaperto a luglio 2021 dopo anni di abbandono. E' uno dei motivi che dovrebbe spingervi a visitare Gibellina. Aiuta meglio a capire la portata del disastro accaduto e la forza della ricostruzione e della rinascita. Alcune opere sono davvero meravigliose, e l'allestimento è davvero ben curato. Non metto il massimo del punteggio perché non è accettabile che in un museo nessuna delle tre addette presenti in biglietteria parli una sola parola d'inglese. Non dico inglese fluente, ma almeno basico. Museum reopened in July 2021 after years of neglect. It is one of the reasons that should push you to visit Gibellina. It helps better to understand the extent of the disaster that happened and the strength of reconstruction and rebirth. Some works are truly wonderful, and the set up is really well cared for. I do not put the maximum score because it is not acceptable that in a museum none of the three employees present at the ticket office speak a single word of English. I don't speak fluent English, but at least basic.

Inaugurato nel luglio 2021 dopo anni di chiusura ed abbandono è un luogo piacevole, efficiente, ben illuminato, climatizzato e con una ricchissima collezione di opere riguardanti sia Gibellina che il Belice , attraversando un pò tutto il passaggio agrario siciliano e la sua ricca rappresentazione con artisti del calibro di Guttuso, Cossyro ecc. La collezione è sterminata e non bastano 2 ore per visitare questo gioiello incastonato nella Nuova Gibellina, esempio di New Town dove spiccano architetture mirabili e visionarie ed una rarefazione spaziale non sempre facile da gestire. Infine un meritato plauso va al personale gentile, disponibile, attento e preciso. Grazie al Comune di Gibellina che ha voluto con forza e determinazione tutto questo. I would like to confirm without a doubt the 5 stars at what is the largest contemporary art museum in Sicily. Inaugurated in July 2021 after years of closure and abandonment, it is a pleasant, efficient, well-lit, air-conditioned place with a very rich collection of works concerning both Gibellina and Belice, crossing a bit all the Sicilian agrarian passage and its rich representation with artists of the likes of Guttuso, Cossyro etc. The collection is endless and 2 hours are not enough to visit this jewel set in the Nuova Gibellina, an example of New Town where marvelous and visionary architectures and a rarefaction of space that are not always easy to manage stand out. Finally, a well-deserved applause goes to the kind, helpful, attentive and precise staff. Thanks to the Municipality of Gibellina who wanted all this with strength and determination.

La cosa che mi ha colpito di più è stata la documentazione fotografica alla fine del percorso. Well curated museum. Inside there are mostly abstract paintings. The thing that struck me most was the photographic documentation at the end of the itinerary.

Stupore dall'inizio alla fine. È stato da poco aperto è si nota (in senso positivo) I did not think something similar could exist in a province considered secondary after all and moreover in a municipality of 3000 inhabitants.
